TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, June 13. Uzbekistan’s trade turnover volume with India amounted to $756.6 million in 2023, Trend reports.
As per data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency, this figure indicates a 9.4 percent growth compared to the same period last year ($691.6 million in 2022).
Trade turnover volume between Uzbekistan and India totaled $490.5 million in 2021 and $444.2 million in 2020. This indicator amounted to $358.8 million in 2019.
In total, Uzbekistan’s trade turnover with India reached $2.7 billion from January 2019 through December 2023.
The total volume of exports from Uzbekistan to India amounted to $223.8 million, while imports to Uzbekistan reached $2.5 billion from January 2019 through December 2023.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan’s trade turnover volume with India reached $270.3 million from January through April 2024. This figure is 40.8 percent more compared to the same period last year ($191.9 million in January–April 2023).
Uzbekistan's exports to India totaled $15.7 million, while imports from India reached $254.5 million from January through April 2024.
