Executive Supervisor of the Eurovision Song Contest Jon Ola Sand and Event Supervisor Sietse Bakker have met with Director General of the Azerbaijani Public Television (ITV), Ismayil Omarov and discussed with him the organizational, technical, legal and creative issues of Eurovision-2012 to be hosted by Azerbaijan, ITV said in a statement.

Sietse Bakker said that if a new facility would be built as a venue of the event, the construction work should be completed on time.

"If the show will be held in the newly built place, then there is a need in reserve option B. If, for any reason there will be a delay, or some other obstacle, then there must be an alternative option," said Bakker.

Jon Ola Sand told the meeting that the construction of a new building to host the competition will begin.

"However, we attended different locations in Baku evaluating them and have reserved these places as alternatives," he said.

Sand also noted that the event tickets price will be determined by the Public Television and other responsible bodies.

"But when determining the tickets price the people's budget will also be taken into account. Because this event is not just for those in a good social position, but also for ordinary people. Everything will be taken into account in advance", he said.

Eurovision management noted that the contest's logo is one of the most subtle nuances of the competition and performs not only the function of a symbol.

"In addition to being a symbol it's also a message to the whole world and we have plenty of time to think it out," said Sand.

Contest participants from Azerbaijan, Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal (Ell / Nikki) won the Eurovision-2011 with the song "Running Scared" gaining 221 points. Thus, Azerbaijan obtained the right to host the Eurovision-2012.
