Today, on September 20, in the Presidential Palace, Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev has accepted William Ward, Deputy US Army European Commander-in-Chief , the press-service of the Presidential Administration told Trend today.
The Head of the Azerbaijani State pointed out that the relations between Azerbaijan and US in different spheres are successfully developed, and expressed his confidence that these relations will be developed in the future even more intensively.
Gen. Ward told that he is satisfied with his first visit to Azerbaijan. He also said that the visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to US was held successfully, and pointed out that the cooperation between the two countries successfully continues.
