BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 20. A meeting was held with Azerbaijani students studying under the Dual Degree Program implemented by Inha University and Baku Engineering University in the Republic of Korea as part of the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty” and the 5th anniversary of Azerbaijan's glorious Victory, Trend reports via the State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
The meeting, held with the support of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora, was also attended by Nermin Dadayeva, representative of the Azerbaijan Diaspora Support Fund, and Vusal Zeynalli, employee of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of Korea.
The students were provided with detailed information about the activities of the committee and the Azerbaijan Diaspora Support Fund, as well as about the large-scale projects being implemented. Proposals and ideas related to the diaspora were also discussed with a view to further expanding the activities of the community and students, and an exchange of views on current issues and prospects took place. The questions they were interested in regarding this area were also answered. Particular attention was paid to the work done by the Azerbaijani diaspora around the world, the activities of diaspora organizations, and the importance of national solidarity.
Students actively participating in the discussions shared their ideas and projects in various fields. It was emphasized that such meetings are of great importance for strengthening the unity of Azerbaijani youth living in South Korea and their integration into the Azerbaijani diaspora.
The event was organized by Humay Jafarli, program director of the Double Degree Program on the Azerbaijani side, as well as active representatives of the Azerbaijani community in South Korea, Leyla Masimli and Aziza Huseynzade.
