Today, at the court hearing on the criminal case of Haji Mammadov and his gang consisted of 25 members, witnesses have been examined, The legal proceeding on the criminal case of former Senior Officer of the Central Criminal Investigation Department of the Interior Ministry Haji Mammadov and 25 members of his gang is being held in the Azerbaijan Court for Serious Crimes presided by Ali Seyfaliyev, Trend reports.
Rustam Ibadov, as a witness, once gave evidence in the court. That were testimonies on an episode on finding of a drug substance in the car that belong to accused Mekhman Sammadov, Haji Mammadov made the things clear in this episode, and said that drugs were his, not Mekhmans. I had forgotten and left these drugs prior to my use of Mekhman's car. Mekham did not know about it. If they show me just one paper-bag with drugs out of 20 ones, I will immediately recognize which one was mine, said Mr. Mammadov.
Then, another witness Shahin Pashayev gave evidence. His testimonies were connected with an attack on a money collector car. He told that he was a driver of that car which was attacked then. The witness answered questions connected with the episode, which were put by the prosecutors.
There were contradictions between the testimonies of search witness Vagif Mammadov and the accused one appeared once again. Vagif Mammadov was a witness during the search of the apartments where Mekham Hassanov lived. The witness told that during the search, a lot of bullets, pistol Makarov, and a drug substances were found.
Mr. Hassanov is accused of illegal acquiring and storage of drug substances and guns, as well as an attempt to attack Yarukhan Iliyev, Director of the Tannery.
