BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 13. Anglo Asian Mining plc mined 43,081 gold equivalent ounces ('GEOs') from January through September 2022, which was 11.5 percent or 5,407 GEOs less than in the same period of 2021, Trend reports citing the company's report.
"Gold accounted for 31,933 ounces (a decrease of 13.75 percent), copper – 1,892 tons (a drop of 0.73 percent), and silver – 144,562 ounces (growth of 24.8 percent)," the statement said.
The company projects production of 54,000-58,000 gold equivalent ounces until the end of 2022.
Anglo Asian Mining's reserves are estimated at $15.5 million as of September 30, 2022 ($11.8 million gold and silver bullion, $3.7 million copper concentrate).
The company's portfolio in Azerbaijan includes a total area of 3,726 square kilometers.
