Azerbaijan sees uptick in road freight and passenger movement in 1Q2025
Azerbaijan experienced notable growth in road transport during the first half of the year, with freight volumes reaching approximately 70 million tons and passenger numbers nearing 901 million. This marks an increase of around 7 percent in cargo and 6 percent in passenger transportation compared to the same period last year.
