The German BHG Bayerische Handelsgesellschaft mbH has proposed mechanisms for financing the export of textile products to the EU countries of the Uzbek Uztextilprom Association, Trend reports with reference to UzDaily.uz.
The sides discussed the problems of organizing the receipt of orders, their implementation, logistics and financing.
The representatives of the association provided information on the volume of production, export of textile products, technical equipment and production capabilities of enterprises, export prospects to the EU countries, the report said.
The parties also talked about the creation of a joint trading house in Germany to organize the reception of orders from world trading companies, placing them among textile enterprises of Uzbekistan, monitoring the execution of orders, acceptance of goods, financing and payment for the shipped goods.
In Q1 2021, Uzbekistan exported $637.7 million worth of textile products to 54 countries.
The figure is more by $174.9 million compared to the same period last year.
In 2020, Uzbekistan exported textile products for $1.9 billion to 70 foreign countries.
