BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 27. Azerbaijan exported over 1.1 million tons of oil and petroleum products to Spain from January through September 2023, which is 5.6 percent of total Azerbaijani exports of raw materials, Trend reports.
This statistic grew by 71.3 percent (by more than 463,750 tons) year on year.
From January to September of this year, Azerbaijani oil and petroleum product shipments to Spain exceeded $700.57 million in value, representing a 41.66 percent ($206 million) increase over the same period in 2022.
Azerbaijan exported 19.8 million tons of oil and petroleum products for the reporting period, a 1.86 percent increase over the previous year (19.5 million tons). Oil exports exceeded $12.1 billion in value, a decline of 18.59 percent or $2.7 billion year on year.
