BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 10. Azerbaijan exported 16.4 bcm of gas from January through August, which is 3.1 percent more than the figure for the same period of 2023, the Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov wrote on X, Trend reports.
The information noted that 8.4 bcm of gas was exported to Europe, 6.5 bcm of gas to Türkiye (of which 3.7 bcm via TANAP), and 1.5 bcm of gas to Georgia.
To note, the total volume of gas exports from Azerbaijan in 2024 may reach 25 billion cubic meters.
