BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 7. The export of non-oil products through Bazargan Customs of West Azerbaijan Province, located in northwest Iran, increased by 17 percent in value and 6 percent in weight during five months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through August 21, 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through August 22, 2023), the director general of Iran's Bazargan Customs Administration Alireza Asadzade said, Trend reports.
According to Asadzade, about 146,000 tons of products worth $94.1 million were exported through Bazargan customs during five months.
Asadzadeh noted that the exported products are mainly petrochemical products, agricultural products, construction materials, etc.
Iran exported 60.5 million tons of non-oil products worth $21.9 billion during five months. The export of non-oil products for five months increased by 10 percent in value and 7 percent in weight compared to the same period last year.
