Iran's sweet gas consumption increased by 8 billion cubic meters (bcm) to 158 bcm in the current fiscal year, which will end on March 20, Iranian top official said on March 16.
"The country's raw gas consumption also stood at 700 million cubic meters per day (mcm/d) in the current year, which shares 70 percent of the country's total primary energy consumption," Nasser Ebrahimi, director for gas supply at the National Iranian Gas Company told Shana news agency.
