Iran boosts non-oil exports to Uzbekistan

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. Iran's non-oil exports to Uzbekistan increased by 15.5 percent in value terms and 23.3 percent in weight terms in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2023 through March 19, 2024) compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration said, Trend reports.

According to statistics, Iran's non-oil exports to Uzbekistan last year amounted to 506,000 tons worth $335 million.

Meanwhile, statistics show that Iran's non-oil exports to Uzbekistan in the previous Iranian year amounted to 410,000 tons worth about $290 million.

The information shows that Iran mainly exported milk and dairy products, petrochemical products, various types of pipes, glass containers, agricultural equipment, and so on to Uzbekistan.

Statistics indicate that Iran's exports of non-oil products to Uzbekistan amounted to 56,400 tons worth $33 million for the 12th month of the last Iranian year (from February 20 through March 19, 2024).

To note, according to the statistics of Iran's Customs Administration, the country's exports of non-oil products in the last Iranian year amounted to more than 136 million tons worth $49.3 billion. Compared to the previous year, Iran's non-oil exports decreased by 8.87 percent in value terms and increased by 9.82 percent in weight terms.
