Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. К.Zarbaliyeva / Alakpar Mammadov, the Military Expert, has stated to the Trend Agency that evidence of bribery in the Azerbaijani National Army leads to negative consequences, commenting frequent crash of military cars in Azerbaijan.
Recently three automobile crashes happened in the country. A military lorry crashed down in Ganja in which 26 soldiers were wounded, and similar accidents happened in Gadabay and Lankaran regions of Azerbaijan.
Mammadov noted that in most cases conscripts drive military automobiles in the Azerbaijani military units.
The expert noted that currently these laws have not been observed. Nobody from military units has been prosecuted due to such incidents so far.
Eldar Sabiroglu, the head of the press-service of the Azerbaijani Defence Ministry, has stated that the press overestimated every case. The reasons for crashes may be different.
