BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 2.​ The volume of transactions conducted through the Real-Time Gross Settlement System (AZIPS) in February 2025 exceeded 42.1 billion manat ($24.7 billion), with the number of transactions surpassing 169,000.

Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank indicates that compared to the same period in 2024, the volume of transactions decreased by 30.9 billion manat ($18.1 billion), or 42.3 percent, while the number of transactions fell by 7,400, or 4.2 percent.

In February 2024, the volume of transactions via AZIPS was 72.9 billion manat ($42.8 billion), with the number of transactions exceeding 176,400.

Furthermore, transactions conducted via the Instant Payment System (AÖS) in Azerbaijan amounted to 96 million manat ($56.4 million) in February 2025, with the number of transactions reaching 72,400.

Compared to February 2024, the volume of transactions through AÖS increased by 23.6 million manat ($13.8 million), or 32.6 percent, while the number of transactions rose by 16,600, or 29.7 percent.

To note, the volume of transactions via AÖS in February 2024 was 72.1 million manat ($42.4 million), with the number of transactions totaling 55,800.
