ASTANA, Kazakhstan, June 2. A project with an export potential of 1 million tons of vegetable oil, wheat, and feed flour per year is being implemented in the Almaty region of Kazakhstan, Trend reports via the Kazakhstan's Ministry of Agriculture.
In the Almaty region of Kazakhstan, work has begun on modernizing the production site of LLP "Kapchagai Wheat Products" alongside the construction of three new factories.
The data indicates that the facility encompasses multiple
sectors simultaneously: the manufacturing of vegetable oil, the
milling of wheat flour, and the processing of feed flour.
Furthermore, the financial outlay for the initiative is quantified
at 8 billion tenge, which translates to an estimated $16 million.
The organization is poised to emerge as a formidable contender
within the national landscape and will strategically engage in the
international distribution of its offerings, with a primary focus
on the Chinese market.
At present, there is an active engagement in the development of
logistics hubs, transit terminals, and manufacturing facilities,
alongside the enhancement of rail infrastructure.
The deployment of the intricate system is scheduled for this fiscal
year. The projected throughput for the fiscal year is anticipated
to culminate in an export volume of 1 million metric tons of
goods.
The project is included in the investment pool of the city of
Konaev, which currently has 39 projects with a total investment
volume of 2.4 trillion tenge (approximately $4.8 billion). As a
result of their implementation, it is planned to create more than
17,000 permanent jobs. At present, there are 12 industrial
enterprises operating in Konaev, and the implementation of the
current initiatives will significantly strengthen the region's
production potential.
