BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 18. The number of issued Mastercard credit cards in Georgia stood at 99,642 in July 2025, according to data from the National Bank of Georgia obtained by Trend.
The figure marked a 0.1% decrease compared to June 2025 (99,734 cards) and a 0.8% decline from May (100,416 cards).
At the same time, the highest monthly issuance of the year remains January 2025, when 101,535 Mastercard credit cards were in circulation.
Overall, the total number of issued credit payment cards in Georgia reached 761,484 in July. When including both credit and debit cards, the country’s total card issuance exceeded 10.8 million in July 2025.
According to the country's National Bank, more than 117.38 million cards were issued in Georgia in 2024.
