TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 22. A total of 62,268,334 bank cards had been issued in Uzbekistan as of September 2025, exceeding the figure for the same period in 2024 (52,207,891).
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank (CBU) shows that Xalq Bank continues to lead the market with the highest number of issued cards, totaling 10.2 million. Agrobank ranks second with 6.4 million cards, followed by Ipoteka Bank with 5.1 million cards in circulation. At the lower end, Saderat Bank Tashkent has the fewest, with just 2,395 active cards.
Overall, in 2024, Uzbekistan saw a total issuance of 53.5 million bank cards. Xalq Bank again topped the market with 12.4 million cards issued, followed by Agrobank with 5.3 million and Ipoteka Bank, which issued 4.6 million cards over the year.
