The latest statistics of the Iran Ministry of Road and Urban Development show 751,385 people have already registered for National Housing Movement, Trend reports citing IRNA.
In the winter of 2018 Iranian Transport and Urban Development Ministry launched the National Housing Action Plan, which includes the construction of 400,000 small and medium-sized apartments (70-100 square meters in size) across the country and particularly in Tehran, where housing prices have risen most sharply.
Iran's new president Ebrahim Raisi has pledged to build four million housing units in four years.
