OPEC's oil production fell by 130,000 barrels per day (bpd) to 30.315 million bpd in January, 2013, which is the lowest level since October, 2011, according to the estimates of Global Energy Studies Centre (CGES).
According to the CGES's estimates, last month Saudi Arabia's production remained only slightly above 9 million bpd, with liftings boosted by withdrawals from storage.
Libya's oil production fell by 170,000 bpd to 1.25 million bpd in January, a level last seen early in 2012, as labour unrest hampered both exports and production, CGES's report says.
"Iran's oil exports are believed to have fallen in January, following a modest rebound in the final month of last year," the report said. According to the CGES's estimates, the country's oil production last month decreased by 50,000 bpd to 2.7 million bpd.
The Centre's data show that Iraqi oil production amounted to 3.06 million bpd in January, 2013 compared to 3.05 million bpd in the previous month and 3.22 million bpd in November, 2012.
