BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 1. Kyrgyzstan in the first 9 months of this year carried out a major repair of its energy infrastructure, Trend reports citing the National Energy Holding Company of Kyrgyzstan.
From January through September 2022, 5 hydraulic units were overhauled in Kyrgyzstan: two at the Kurpsai HPP and one each at the Tash-Kumyr, Shamaldy-Say, and Uchkorgon HPPs.
During the reporting period, a repair of 479.4 km of overhead power lines with a voltage of 110-500 kV was completed in Kyrgyzstan.
"In addition, 128 additional complete transformer substations have been installed in the regions of Kyrgyzstan, 166 overloaded transformers have been replaced with high-capacity ones, 346 km of power lines with a voltage of 10-0.4 kV have been built and reconstructed," the company reports.
The company noted that the timely implementation of such measures will ensure high-quality and reliable preparation for the autumn-winter period in order to avoid overloads and accidents.
