BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21.​ Iran's Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company has reported a notable increase in production over the past Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through March 20, 2025), with a rise of 9.3 percent compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024), Trend reports, citing the company.

The company produced 2.08 million tons of petrochemical products during the last Iranian year, and despite facing some international sanctions and fluctuating global market prices, the company managed to boost its output, setting a new production record.

"Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company is not only meeting domestic needs but also increasing its product exports. The company has gained a larger share of international markets among national companies," the report said.

To note, Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company, located in the southwestern Khuzestan province, has the capacity to produce up to 180,000 tons of benzene, 40,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), 350,000 tons of light naphtha, 499,000 tons of heavy naphtha, 700,000 tons of white oil, as well as various solvents and reformates. The company’s total production capacity stands at 1.7 million tons annually.
