ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 27. The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) presented a variety of light industry products during its 222nd trading session, Trend reports via SCRMET.
Several textile enterprises offered large consignments of cotton yarn and fabrics. ES Altyn Bereket put forward 1,000 kg of gabardine fabric made from 100 percent cotton. IE Bereketli Dokma offered cotton yarns with Nm 34/1 and Nm 20/1 specifications, totaling over 125,000 kg, along with plain dyed and jacquard terry products such as towels, napkins, and bath sheets.
Calico fabric was also on offer, with 1.45 million running meters of calico cloth available for export. All lots are offered under payment deferment terms with FCA delivery from Ashgabat and Turkmenabat.
Established in 1994, SCRMET serves as the key platform for regulating Turkmenistan’s export-import operations and trade activities. It remains Turkmenistan’s primary hub for petrochemical trading, supporting competitive access to international markets and providing a transparent platform for global buyers to procure fuels, polymers, and chemical raw materials.
