The private sector has invested 4.17 trillion rials (about $170 million based on the US dollar official exchange rate of 24,900 rials) in urban development projects in the northwestern city of Ardebil, IRIB reported.
The projects include establishing a gas station, creating a grass football field, and building a footbridge, costing a total of 1.85 trillion rials.
Renovating a historic bazaar and establishing a number of residential, commercial, and recreational complexes were among the projects.
