A register of appraisers has been created in Azerbaijan, chairman of Azerbaijan’s Society of Appraisers, Director General of the MBA Group consulting company Nusrat Ibrahimov said July 19.
Initially, the register was planned to be launched in the first quarter of this year, but the launch time had to be postponed because the work to connect the appraisal companies to the register was delayed.
Ibrahimov noted that the connection to the register is in the interests of the appraisal companies themselves, because the Society of Appraisers is the only agency in Azerbaijan that certifies the appraisers.
Speaking about the activities of the society, he added that the website of the organization has already been developed, and advanced training courses are being held for appraisers.
The law “On appraisal activity” in Azerbaijan came into force in 1998. Azerbaijan’s Society of Appraisers was registered in 1997.
