Draft decree of the Uzbek Cabinet of Ministers ‘On additional measures on consumer rights protection’, which oversees the prohibition on import of some types of used goods has been brought up for discussion, Trend reports with reference to the portal for discussion of projects of legal documents of Uzbekistan.
According to the draft decree, the prohibition of import of some goods, which have been repaired or have previously been in use, may be introduced.
In particular, the prohibition of used or repaired tires and agriculture machinery, spare parts for cars, as well as goods of light and textile industry, and household appliances may be introduced. The discussion of the project will be held till October 3, 2019.
