Georgian “Tbilisi Energy” has purchased 100 percent of the shares of the Tbilisi gas distribution company - KazTransGas-Tbilisi, Trend reports with reference to the statement of the company.
A special management regime in KazTransGas-Tbilisi was abolished on May 3, and the Georgian Business Group has begun to take over management of the company and has purchased 100 percent of the shares of the Tbilisi gas distribution company.
The company starts rebranding from today that will be carried out in stages. The process involves the change of the company’s name, logo, color and other elements of identity.
According to the company, the gas distribution company is changing its name to Tbilisi Energy.
The rehabilitation of the capital’s gas supply network, which has not been renewed for decades, is the priority for Tbilisi Energy.
The company takes into account a high social responsibility, which is related to the safe consumption of gas and plans to start a large-scale campaign from September together with the subscribers, who are responsible for safe operation of gas in their own areas. The campaign will be fully directed to the safe consumption of the natural gas.
"Currently, the training and qualification activities of Tbilisi Energy employees are underway. $30 million is planned to be poured into the business annually,” the statement says.
