Turkmenistan’s Turkmenabat Chemical Plant named after Saparmurat Niyazov manufactured products worth 77.9 million Turkmen manat ($2.2 million) from January through September 2020, exceeding the annual plan by 21 percent, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan information portal.
Thus, during the specified period, the production of mineral fertilizers amounted to 302,600 tons.
The branch of the plant in Magdanli city produced 406 tons of bleach, which is 2.5 times higher than last year's figure, about 74 tons of sulfuric acid were produced this year, as well as 2,300 tons of disinfectant chemicals with the addition of sulfur.
As reported, Turkmenabat chemical plant named after Saparmurat Niyazov is developing cooperation with the private sector of Turkmenistan.
The cooperation is being established with enterprises that have made a proposal to establish joint production. Thus, the plant has already launched production of three small enterprises.
