BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 19. Azerbaijan produced 29,500 tons of oil bitumen from January through February 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee indicates that this represents a decrease of 2,600 tons, or 8.1 percent, compared to the same period last year (32,100 tons).
Moreover, the stock of finished oil bitumen stood at 15,700 tons as of March 1.
Meanwhile, in the same period, Azerbaijan produced 37,900 tons of petroleum coke, marking a decline of 2,600 tons, or 6.4 percent, compared to the previous year, when 40,500 tons were produced.
The stock of finished petroleum coke stood at 20,600 tons as of March 1.
The total value of oil product production during the mentioned period reached over 1 billion manat ($588.2 million), reflecting a 15.6 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
