Uzbekistan’s Uzbekinvest national export-import insurance company and Italian SACE export-credit agency held negotiations at a meeting of the Berne Union in Indian city of Hyderabad and discussed issues on promising areas of cooperation, Trend reports citing Uzbekinvest’s press service.
Following the results of the negotiations, a cooperation agreement was signed between Uzbekinvest and SACE.
This agreement opens up great opportunities for cooperation in providing insurance coverage to exporters of the two countries, including in the field of co-insurance and reinsurance of joint Uzbek-Italian enterprises in third countries.
It also provides on the ongoing implementation of mutual exchange of information on countries, enterprises and banks and on the provision of advice and assistance in operational work.
The Berne Union is the International Union of Credit and Investment Insurers and unites export credit agencies of countries around the world.
