The Baku Telephone Communication LLC has resumed the work on optimizing the infrastructure of cable and sewage facilities of Baku, a source in Azerbaijan’s telecommunication market told Trend Jan. 8.
The work was suspended in connection with the New Year holidays, in order to avoid possible disruptions in the operation of communication networks, according to the source.
The optimization involves joining or decommissioning of cable lines laid in the cable and sewage facilities of Baku. Only out-of-service equipment and cables that may cause accidents are decommissioned.
