Azerbaijan imported 104,155 mobile phones and other mobile devices worth $9.697 million in January-February 2018, the country’s State Statistical Committee told Trend April 16.
The number of mobile phones imported by the country increased by 77.3 percent in January-February 2018 compared to 58,734 mobile phones in January-February 2017. In terms of value, the figure also increased by 62.6 percent.
Since early 2018, an average of over 52,000 mobile devices per month has been imported into Azerbaijan. The monthly volume of the mobile phone market exceeded $4.84 million in value terms.
