President Kurmanbek Bakiyev of Kyrgyzstan will pay a visit to Moscow in early February, the presidential press service reported.
On January 14 Kyrgyz Prime Minister Igor Chudinov visited Moscow. He met with Russian finance minister Alexei Kudrin, energy minister Sergei Shmatko, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and President Dmitry Medvedev, reported KABAR.
The parties discussed details of granting a credit in the amount of 300 million dollars to support Kyrgyzstan's state budget and Russian investments in the amount of 1.7 billion dollars for Kyrgyz energy, and issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia. The parties emphasized the high level of bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
I.Chudinov yesterday told President Kurmanbek Bakiyev about results of his visit to Moscow. During the visit to Moscow, President K.Bakiyev is also expected to participate in the summits of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
