Group of agitators of the banned religious organization Hizb ut-Tahrir were detained in the Bazar-Korgon region of Kyrgyzstan these days, press service of the Interior Affairs Ministry reported.
One of them, a resident of the Abduraimov village, 48, was traced in course of a sanctioned search operation on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. The officers seized 4 brochures, 30 leaflets, 18 CDs and 38 video records of extremism propaganda, News Agensy "24.kg" reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
