BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 14. MegaFon, one of the leading Russian telecommunications companies which provides various digital services, has registered a representative office in Kyrgyzstan, Trend reports.
The company has announced that its office will commence operations in Bishkek in October. MegaFon's primary focus will be the implementation of digital projects for businesses and society, based on its expertise in B2B (business-to-business) and B2G (business-to-government) operations.
Alexander Kaloshin, the director of MegaFon’s national projects, has been appointed as the head of the Kyrgyzstan representative office. Kaloshin will continue to work on ICT projects in Russia as well.
"We have a lot of experience in implementing digital projects, both in Russia and beyond. Our technologies help various sectors of the economy, large enterprises, and entire cities solve their tasks more efficiently and faster every day. I am confident that this experience will be in high demand in Kyrgyzstan," Kaloshin said.
By the end of the year, MegaFon has planned several pilot projects in Kyrgyzstan across various social and industrial sectors. The company will execute projects related to urban improvement, transportation safety, and industrial digitalization.
MegaFon's portfolio includes a range of significant projects aimed at digitizing industries, utilities, transportation infrastructure, the social sector, healthcare, and the extractive industry.
