BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, December 25. Kyrgyzstan imported 11,217 trucks from January through October 2023, which is 2.2 times higher than in the same period of 2022 (4,922 trucks), Trend reports.
Data from the State Statistical Committee of the country shows that the value of the imports amounted to $112.845 million, which is a 2.4-times rise compared to the same period in 2022 ($46.018 million).

Simultaneously, a limited number of trucks were imported from Russia (121), Poland (85), Sweden (62), Kazakhstan (55), the Netherlands (33), Belarus (27), and other countries.
Kyrgyzstan's total commercial turnover was $12.297 billion from January through October 2023, up 24.9 percent from $9.845 billion in the same period in 2022.
Kyrgyzstan's exports were $2.443 billion for the 10-month period, a 29.6 percent increase over the $1.885 billion recorded from January through October 2022. Imports into Kyrgyzstan totaled $9.854 billion during this period, a 23.8% increase over the same period in 2022 ($7.959 billion).
