Gazprom EP International B.V. (former Gazprom Netherlands B.V.) company acquired 25.01 percent of shares of UzLITIneftgas JSC, the Uzbek company told Trend.
The deal with value of $512,421 was achieved within the framework of trading of the Tashkent Republican Stock Exchange (RSE).
Gazprom paid $10.5 per share with a par value of 5,000 soums, according to the RSE data.
In total, the company acquired 48,802 shares of UzLITIneftgas.
UzLITIneftgas JSC is the head Scientific Research and Design Institute of oil and gas industry in Uzbekistan, which provides a comprehensive scientific project support development of hydrocarbon fields and construction of facilities for oil and gas industry of Uzbekistan.
Gazprom company is the single operator of Gazprom's overseas projects on the exploration and development of hydrocarbon fields.
Exchange rate as of Feb. 2 is $1/2836.87 soums.
