TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 28. Uzbekistan’s coal, coke, and briquette trade turnover amounted to $108 million from January through August 2024, Trend reports.
According to the data from Uzbekistan’s Statistics Agency, this figure shows a 7.7 percent decrease compared to the same period last year ($116.4 million in January–August 2023).
The exports of coal, coke, and briquettes reached $1.9 million from January through August 2024.
The country’s imports of coal, coke, and briquettes totaled $106.1 million during this period. The volume of imports shows a 8.8 percent decrease over the year ($116.4 million in January–August 2023).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan’s trade turnover volume of mineral fuels, lubricating oils, and similar materials amounted to $3.5 billion from January through August 2024. This indicator has increased by 75 percent compared to the same period last year ($2 billion in January–August 2023).
