TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, January 3. Uzbekistan's volume of imports of industrial goods reached $5.52 billion from January through November 2024.

According to the data obtained by Trend from Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency, this figure has decreased by 3.6 percent compared to the same period last year ($5.72 billion in January–November 2023).

The specific weight in the overall volume of imports reached 15.7 percent.

Russia ($1.97 billion), China ($1.8 billion), Kazakhstan ($675.2 million), Türkiye ($266.6 million), and South Korea ($137.6 million) were the top partners sending industrial products to Uzbekistan during the specified timeframe.

Iron and steel ($2.44 billion), metal products ($739.2 million), textile yarn, ready-made items ($530.5 million), rubber products ($400.3 million), and other items make up the majority of imports of industrial goods.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's volume of imports amounted to $35.14 billion from January through November 2024. This figure has increased by 3 percent compared to the same period in 2023 ($34.1 billion in January–November 2023).
