BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 6. The production in Iran's Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company increased by 5 percent during the six months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through September 21, 2024) compared to the same period last year (from March 21 through September 22, 2023).
The data obtained by Trend from the Bouali Sina petrochemical company shows that during the six months, about 1.05 million tons of petrochemical products were produced.
Meanwhile, the statement notes that the company's production capacity amounted to 890,000 tons during the six months. However, thanks to the maximum functioning of the company's plants, petrochemical products were produced in the specified volumes.
Moreover, it is noted that the production in the specified volume is considered a record for the entire period of the company's activity.
To note, Bouali Sina petrochemical company in Khuzestan province, located in the southwest of Iran, annually produces 180,000 tons of benzene, 40,000 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), 350,000 tons of light naphtha, and 499,000 tons of gasoline. heavy naphtha, 700,000 tons of white oil, solvents, reformation, and so on. The production capacity of the company is 1.7 million tons per year.
