The price of one gram of the 18-karat gold increased by 1.31 percent over the last Iranian week to stand at 1,477,070 rials (about $32.3) on the weekend.
The price of Bahar-e Azadi (Spring of Liberty) gold coin added 1.98 percent over the week and stood at 14,900,000 rials ($326.5) on the last day of the Iranian week, Thursday.
Meanwhile the value of the US dollar against Iranian rial in the free market increased by 0.04 percent to post 45,603 rials on Thursday.
The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put the official rate of the US dollar at 36,979 rials on Thursday, an increase of 0.08 percent compared to the preceding week.
According to the country’s real-time data sharing system, SANA, euro added 2.85 percent to rest at 58186 rials on the weekend. The official rate of euro increased by 1.28 percent to stand at 45,318 rials.
