BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 14. Azerbaijani wrestler Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) reached the semi-finals of the World Championship in Zagreb, Croatia, Trend reports.
In the quarter-final match, he defeated Olympic medalist and three-time European champion Daulen Kurugliev from Greece with a score of 2:0.
Another Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler, Jabrail Hajiyev (79 kg), failed to reach the semi-finals, losing 0:8 to European champion Georgios Kougimitzidis from Greece.
