BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 12. Azerbaijani Azersulfat LLC sulfuric acid producer will export the first batch of its products to Georgia in the coming days, Azersulfate LLC Director General Emil Guliyev told Trend.
According to him, the first batch includes 100 tons, and more than 7,000 tons will be shipped in general.
He noted that Azerbaijan's demand for sulfuric acid runs at 11,000 tons per year now.
Guliyev pointed out that the Azersulfat LLC plant is an environmentally friendly enterprise, and its emissions into the atmosphere are practically zero.
The production capacity of the Azersulfat LLC plant is 20,000 tons per year, and this indicator reaches 60 tons per day.
Meanwhile, the Azersulfat LLC put into operation a plant for the production of sulfuric acid in December 2022.
A total of 42 people are provided with permanent jobs at the enterprise, with an investment volume of more than 10 million manat ($5.8 million). Since the beginning of its work, the company has sold more than 1,600 tons of products on the domestic market.
