BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 3. During 3Q2023, Shell's LNG liquefaction volumes amounted to 6.9 million metric tons (MT), marking a slight reduction of over 4 percent from the 7.2 MT achieved in the preceding quarter, Trend reports.
Looking forward to the final quarter of 2023, Shell has set an outlook for its LNG liquefaction volumes, projecting a range of 6.7 to 7.3 MT.
In an interesting consistency, Shell reported LNG sales volumes of 16 MT for both 3Q and 2Q2023.
As of now, Shell has not provided a forecast for its LNG liquefaction and sales volumes in the fourth quarter of 2023, leaving room for anticipation and adaptation to the evolving energy landscape.
Meanwhile, Shell has reported adjusted earnings of $6.2 billion in 3Q2023. This fugure increased by 24 percent, compared to the precedening quarter ($5 billion).
Shell highlighted that this growth was driven by strong operational results and favorable market conditions, the company noted.
