BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 20. Silver production in Azerbaijan shot through the roof in January 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the State Statistical Committee shows that this figure amounted to 375.8 kg, up 32.6 percent (92.3 kg) compared to the same month last year (283.5 kg).
As of February 1 of this year, the quantity of available silver reserves in the country was 625.9 kg.
To note, 3,184 tons of silver were produced in Azerbaijan last year, decreasing by 521 kilograms (14 percent) from 2023 (3,705 kg).
