BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 15. Azerbaijan imported 8.4 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity from January through February 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the country's Ministry of Energy shows that this figure decreased by 5.1 million kWh or 37.8 percent compared to the same month last year (13.5 million kWh).
During the reporting month, Azerbaijan's electricity exports amounted to 146.1 million kWh, which is 39.4 million kWh, or 36.9 percent more than last February (106.7 million kWh).
In February 2025, Azerbaijan's electricity production reached 2.37 billion kWh, up 101 million kWh or 4.4 percent from the same month in 2024 (2.2 billion kWh).
