BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 1. The voluntary vehicle insurance premiums and payouts in Azerbaijan have really hit the ground running, showing a remarkable upward mark.
Data obtained by Trend from the Central Bank’s report indicates that insurance premiums for vehicles from January through February 2025 amounted to over 11.6 million manat ($6.8 million), with insurance payouts totaling 4.7 million manat ($2.7 million).
This represents an increase of more than 2.4 million manat ($1.4 million), or 26.4 percent, in premiums, and an increase of 1.4 million manat ($823.5), or around 41 percent, in payouts compared to the same period last year.
