BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 14. Anglo Asian Mining, a company focused on gold, copper, and silver production primarily in Azerbaijan, has produced a total of 534 tons of copper in the first quarter of 2025.
Data obtained by Trend from the company indicates that this figure grew by a whopping 480 ounces (9.9 times) compared to the same period in 2024 (54 ounces).
Anglo Asian Mining has produced a total of 6,029 ounces of gold and 30,321 ounces of silver in the first quarter of this year. The gold production increased by 3,763 ounces (2.7 times), and silver production - by 23,916 ounces (4.7 times) compared to the same period last year. In the first quarter of 2024, the company’s total gold production in Azerbaijan was 2,266 ounces, and the silver production - 6,405 ounces.
Moreover, the company produced 8,085 ounces of gold equivalent in the first quarter, marking an increase of 5,537 ounces, or 3.2 times more, compared to the same period last year. In the first quarter of 2024, the company’s total production was 2,548 ounces of gold equivalent. Last year’s decline in production was due to a partial suspension of operations.
