ASTANA, Kazakhstan, April 18. KazTransOil (KTO) plans to allocate 33.08 billion tenge (about $62.85 mln) to dividends for 2024, Trend reports via the company's press service.
"The Board of Directors of KazTransOil JSC has proposed to the
annual general meeting of shareholders to allocate 33.08 billion
tenge (approx. $62.85 million) from the net income of 41.6 billion
tenge (approx. $79.04 million) earned in 2024 for dividend
payments. The remaining net income of 8.5 billion tenge (approx.
$16.15 million) is recommended to be retained and not distributed,
staying under the control of KazTransOil," the national company
explained.
The dividend amount for 2024 per ordinary share is proposed to be
set at 86 tenge (approx. $0.16).
The distribution of KazTransOil’s net income for 2024 and the
dividend per ordinary share will be approved at the annual general
meeting of shareholders on May 22, 2025.
KazTransOil is a subsidiary of KazMunayGas. The consolidated revenue of KTO for 2024 amounted to 311.9 billion tenge (approximately $592.61 million), which is a 7.4 percent increase compared to the same figure in 2023. The consolidated net profit reached 41.58 billion tenge (approximately $79.00 million), which is 26.6 percent more than the result in 2023.
