Annual inflation in Georgia hits 5.8 percent in March

Annual inflation in Georgia in March 2010 amounted to 5.8 percent. According to the National Statistical Service, the figure in February was 5.6 percent, and in March 2009 - 1,6 percent.

According to the Statistics Service, the rate of monthly inflation in March was - 0.2 percent, and in the same period of 2009 - 0,4 percent.

In 2009, inflation in Georgia amounted to three percent. In 2010-12 the figure is forecasted at six percent.
